Weekly watercolor from last week, featuring a younger version of the White Queen. More like the Pink Queen. Pink Princess? Whatever.
AUGHG WHAT AM I DOING I NEED TO STOP DRAWING HEADS AND BUSTS GRRR STRIKE SOME FRIGGIN POSES, MOOT.
Last week’s weekly watercolor, a day late but whatever. I successfully managed to wipe the hard drive of my little laptop, install Ubuntu, and get the scanner working. :) it’s like having a new computer
Had to do something with this peach-colored spot. Obviously
Playing with colored pencils. Oops I should be sleeping
Starting to work on a character design for this guy, Julian Boscoe. He’s a 22-year-old anti-social asshole with deep pockets and severe rage issues. I have a written description of him—-strawberry blond hair, lean and lanky frame, wears alligator skin boots—-but I have yet to form a good mental image of him like I have for Orestes, or find a good reference photo for him like I have for the White Queen (I’ll post that reference eventually, when I finally draw her to my satisfaction).
Another character, whose name I have still yet to decide on. She’s known as the White Queen, because she rides up and down the Appalachian Mountains wearing all white leather on a dark cherry red motorcycle, and claims to be a cultural anthropologist studying amnesia in mountain children.
Time for new characters in a new story? Yes. Well, the story is new to all of you; I’ve had it in my head for a few years now. Here we have Orestes, a human singularity and cult leader.
Latest weekly watercolor. Not my best scanner, but you gotta make do sometimes. Need to get the intervening weeks scanned and posted, but they aren’t as exciting so I’m feeling no rush. Young Dorien’s mom, future political strategist and baby dispenser.
